On behalf of the friends and family of Teresa (Jones) James, we will hereby re-nominate her for the Woodford County Hall of Fame. A very through nomination packet was submitted last year and we understand they are kept for reconsideration in following years. Teresa has a distinguished career as a social work professional and she has already been inducted into the University of Kentucky College of Social Work Hall of Fame. Additionally, she was also recently awarded the Deans award from Eastern Kentucky University. As the previous nomination noted, she has received numerous awards in her profession. Having received recognition from both her under graduate (EKU) and graduate (UK) institutions, it seems fitting that she should be considered for the Woodford County Public Schools Hall of Fame. As residents of Woodford County, we know this recognition would certainly hold a special meaning for her.
I was unable to download the form from the website, but I will be able to update any information that may be needed. Please don’t hesitate to contact me at 859-251-4236 or bob.james@comcast.net. Your acknowledgement of receipt of this message would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
I have been resident of Woodford County and attended HS there for many years. When this was first put out to the public I could have nominated many teachers or administrators but the first person that came to my mind was Dave Noble. I never had the privilege of having him for a teacher but his fame in the late 70’s early 80’s was extensive. I tried to fill out the form but it lead me to a non server. I hope you will take this e-mail as a nomination since your site was dtysfunctioning.
