John Conlee, WCHS 1964 – The country music singer and songwriter has had seven No. 1 hit singles, according to Billboard magazine. He became a member of the Grand Ole Opry in 1981. He also is a member of the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame.
Ron Lowry, WCHS, 1976 – He is the principal cellist with the Boston Pops Orchestra and has performed on national TV shows and televised concerts.
